Personal example
I want to surf into my 80s. 👵🏻 🏄🏻♀️
That means I must physically and mentally stay sharp, strong, and flexible.
So, I ask myself, what is one thing I want to do this winter ❄️to stay aligned with the big picture goal?
I am committing to yoga/stretching two times per week. I have, over the years, been mostly consistent, but I have gotten off my routine, and I notice it. ☹️
When I skip, I notice the lack, which dominoes into all areas of my life including mental clarity. 🤯
I am focused on practicing yoga two times per week this winter.
Once the habit is created, I will add my next habit in the spring 🌷 that aligns with my larger picture to surf 🏄🏻♀️into my 80s 👵🏻.
